Our courses
Our courses are run in two periods:
- September to mid-November (I semester)
- February to mid-April (II semester)
Courses are offered at the following levels: A2 (elementary), B1 (Intermediate) and B2 (Upper Intermediate):
Courses include lessons in class (30 hours) and self-study. Lessons are generally held 2 times a week (2 hours for each lesson), between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm from Monday to Friday. Course offerings will depend on enrollment.
For beginner students Cliro offers an on-line self-learning course (level A1). Beginners students will be emailed further information from their tutor.
Final certificate
On request, students can obtain certificates of attendance (frequenza) or achievement (profitto) at the end of the course. Students are required to attend at least 70% of the lessons to obtain either certificate. The achievement certificate will only be awarded on successful completion of the final test.
ECTS credits for exchange students
Exchange students who attend at least 70% of the lessons and pass the final test will be awarded 3 ECTS credits. Italian language courses are offered only on a pass/fail basis.
To obtain ECTS credits, exchange students have to insert the course code in their study plan. The "pass" grade will be recorded electronically through "Almaesami".
